My main source of confusion was if I needed to unzip the XV2INS files to any specific area or not to make it work (I guess I wasn't very clear about that in my question).

Conveniently (I actually mean the opposite of that), he included no instructions on how to uninstall his mod, and frankly I have tried before and it is not so cut and dry. Can someone help me? As a bonus, the creator of the transformations mod (Lazybone) made it clear in his instructions that older versions of his mod (pre-version 3.0) needed to be uninstalled before installing the newest version. I don't remember how I did it with the older version I used, but for some reason the creator didn't think anyone would need instructions, or didn't care. The patcher was easy to install, but the XVINS (installer) includes no installation instructions or. I downloaded the updated patcher and installer, along with the mod that I would like to update/install as well.
